How much does the MARO Model 1 weigh and why?

The machine weighs 27 kg, which is due to the use of high-quality materials such as stainless steel. This ensures stability, durability and a high-quality

How does the descaling process work?

The descaling process of the MARO Model 1 is user-friendly and can be performed by yourself. Simply follow the instructions on the display, and the machine will guide you through the steps.

What is MARO's customer support like?

Our customer support is fast, efficient, and always available. We pride ourselves on being there for you in every situation.

What drinks can I prepare with the MARO Model 1?

With the MARO Model 1 you can make almost every coffee you have ever wanted. A classic espresso, a cappuccino with perfectly foamed milk, a velvety flat white, a creamy latte macchiato or even a café crème, it is all there. And if you like experimenting, creative specialities like a „Blooming Shot“ or a lever-style brewing profile are available too.

When will the MARO Model 1 be available again?

The next production batch is planned for early 2025. Pre-orders are available to ensure you receive a machine from the next series.

Can I save recipes in the MARO Model 1?

Yes, the machine has a built-in diary where you can save your favorite recipes and access them at any time.

Are there any opportunities to test the MARO Model 1 live?

What features does the MARO Model 1 software offer?

Our software offers different modes, from beginner mode to expert mode, which allows you to create and save individual recipes.

Can I order a Model 1 from Switzerland?

Since Switzerland is not part of the EU, we have chosen to partner with the Kaffeewerkstadt in Zurich to offer you the best possible service. This allows for consultations and machine demonstrations directly on-site. This partnership enables seamless support and explains the slight price difference compared to Germany.

Plumbing option

Is the plumbed-in version a new Model 1?

No. Same machine, one more configuration. Not a new generation.

Can I retrofit my existing Model 1?

The plumbing option can be retrofitted. Whether the direct drain connection also works on existing machines is something we are still checking.

Why does MARO change hardware at all?

Because we develop Model 1 further instead of replacing it. Model 1 is our platform: whatever we learn to do better, we build in.
