Model 1 listens to the scale

The scale connects when you switch it on, and Model 1 stops the shot at the target weight.

Automatic

You just put the cup on top

Model 1 tares the scale on its own and stops the shot at the target weight. The software is tuned to exactly this scale: connecting, taring and stopping happen without you lifting a finger.

Day to day, Model 1 measures with the virtual scale: it detects how much espresso ends up in the cup. When you care about tenths of a gram, the Bookoo goes underneath: the weight shows live on the Model 1 display and is logged in MARO HOME. With a new coffee or a demanding profile, the Bookoo calibrates the virtual scale at the same time.

Bump the cup just before the end? Happened to us too. Model 1 notices, switches to the virtual scale and still lands the shot on target.
